Pumpkins Lock Up Your Pumpkin Seeds

Too Much Smoking...Too Much Drinking...Too Much At The Same Time
I’m learning this photography thing. I really wanted to be able to take good shots at concerts and I figured that’s only going to come with practise. At first it is very overwhelming to adjust all your setting and take a snap, but I’m learning, I’m not suggesting I’m any good yet, but I’m getting a little better. Gus’s is really poorly lit, so all things considered I think I did an alright job, even though some (most) of the shots are “artsy.” Hopefully in a few months I’ll look at this post and say “wow, I sucked so much,” but until then I’m pretty happy with a few of the shots I took.

Congrats to Kestrels for being named Best New Band in this years Best of Music Poll at the Coast.

This has been a week of good news for my friends! I like to think this means the luck is going to slide my way as well!
Kestrels, my very favorite local band is taking home some credible acclaim (aka – not just me talking) from the Coast, winning the best new artist award in this weeks issue. I just felt like sharing the joy.
….that is all!
